Cheryl Whistler Anthes is a direct descendant of James McNeill Whistler of "Whistler's Mother" fame. She has inherited some of his artistic talent and ability as you will soon see. She started doing mosaics when the night club we own needed some new tables. She was a natural. Her first works were routed out wood tables with mosaics embedded. She is now building her own furniture and refinishing old dressers with a mosaic theme. She has been asked repeatedly to sell some of her works, and until now, has not had the time nor the desire. She has agreed to do a number of special order tables, boxes, or anything that might strike her fancy. Items are priced according to the size and complexity of the design. For more information, e-mail her at cheryl@countryluau.com and you will receive a prompt reply. Or if you are in Kingsville, Texas drop by the Country Luau at 115 University Blvd and speak to Cheryl or Barry  in person. The tables below were photographed 2 years after they were built and have taken plenty of abuse from our patrons. They have held up extremely well, a testament to her diligence in doing things the right way.
